Fall is a good time to hike Pedernales Falls. I went this afternoon and felt like I had the entire park to myself.
Good content and application creators are worth their weight in gold right now.

I have no idea what Fuel is but i know they and every new L1, L2 and ecosystem’s life depends on their ability to win over and retain high quality creators.

Does anyone know what a venture capitalist does most of the time?

One thing I respect about Bountycaster, Daylight, Degen, Frens, Farcaster, and a handful of other cryptonative teams building right now is that the entire founding team, not just the ceo, have deep conviction in crypto.
You're dusting off your list of ideas you've been thinking about for years.

What questions are you asking yourself to evaluate, score, and rank them?
Once upon a time, I co-founded a record label as the token tech guy. I came into the studio one day, and a couple of musicians were playing on the piano. "Hey Jayme, I want you to meet Sonny Moore." I didn't know who he was at the time, but I'll never forget how nerdy and passionate he was about music. I think about it every time I listen to his sets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mcg6_W82KrI&t=3635s
Polymarket comments are a pretty wild place on the internet
Can’t stop thinking about how bullish i am on the /frens team!

1. They know kpis and have clear but aggressive goals
2. They know exactly who their users are and are passionate about giving them what they want
3. They’re iterating on the product and growing from 10-100-1000 users that love the app
4. They’re figuring out distribution and know all the levers to pull in different market scenarios

This may seem like simple stuff but it feels incredibly rare in crypto

I’ve worked on about a dozen different marketplaces. The biggest mistake I’ve made numerous times is overly focusing on the value to the supply-side users.

From restaurants to home service providers to content creators, there isn’t a supplier that doesn’t want to make more money.

Demand is the name of the game. Why will the demand side users spend money and use this regularly? What are they currently paying for in terms of money or time that this is replacing?
Nice shout out for @jessepollak and /degen in Morning Minute from @tylerd
Getting ready to watch @orangedao demo day on /launchcaster 🍿
My friends asked me to make them my favorite breakfast tacos in Austin.

For me, these are:
1. Migas at Veracruz All Natural
2. The Otto at Tacodeli
Near-instantaneous necklace
My friend hired a LinkedIn growth expert to help his startup with LinkedIn marketing.

"Dude, it's genius he just posts memes"
Is Reddit the most valuable misspelled product?
I’m excited to announce that Launchcaster has been acquired by Orange DAO.

We launched Launchcaster two years ago because we didn’t have a great place to share and discover crypto projects with a community that cared. Since then, our side project has evolved into a public good, fostering thousands of launches and attracting over 15,000 crypto builders.

We wanted to find a long-term home for Launchcaster where it could grow and continue as a public good for crypto builders without needing to turn into some short-term speculative experiment. Just as YC runs Hacker News and Hyper runs Product Hunt, Orange DAO running Launchcaster is a perfect fit!
Beautiful night 🎿🏝️
Suhail (Playground/Mixpanel) shares a similar lesson at 35:00: Be ruthless about where the value is.

Suhail: We have all these competitors. I don't know how to compete.

Max: What do you think is the biggest market? ... go after the biggest market.

I've been to SunLife 4x in 10 days since @vm cast the cow challenge.

I think I'm becoming a smoothie person 😅

Great domain too: repaint.com
Another takeaway from this talk:

A big part of an entrepreneur’s job is having a hypothesis on what a good market is going to be.
I think about this every time i’m running and there’s someone in front of me
