My key takeaways...
1. You will never feel like you are ready.
No amount of preparation can actually prepare you for what will happen post-launch, whether you get a huge rush of users or absolute crickets. It is a rollercoaster regardless.
2. Private betas are overrated.
When you are onboarding users one-at-a-time to a private beta, it can make them less willing to tell you how they truly feel. Nothing beats the brutal honesty of a complete stranger who is using your app for the first time.
3. Launch sooner.

I don’t weigh in on controversy often, but this time I’ll bite.
The "Base is for everyone" campaign nails the whole point of permissionless blockchains.
I don’t care if you’re a drug dealer, prostitute, or anyone else the law frowns upon.
Humans should have the right to transact freely.
Once upon a time, you could hand someone physical cash for anything.
No bank, no corporations, no government intervention.
But that freedom is vanishing as the world moves online.
If we want to preserve this, we need scalable blockchains with reasonable fees.
Yes, Coinbase has banned users in the past, especially in adult industries.
But as a public U.S. company, they are under a much higher degree of scrutiny.
However, that’s the beauty of Base. It is an L2 that provides the flexibility for all users, regardless of what financial transactions they want to conduct.
This is the cyberpunk, libertarian ideology upon which our entire industry was built.
This is what radical financial freedom looks like.

But design and creativity actually REQUIRE time for inspiration.

Not only is this completely overpriced with barely any ROI, but it’s bringing almost no new users into the space.
If we want our industry to reach the “next billion users,” it’s going to take a lot more than X.
We need to meet new users on the mainstream platforms they use every day to expose them to consumer crypto apps that solve real problems.
But first, they need the tooling to make this possible.
Currently, there is no way to easily manage large-scale content marketing campaigns on other social media platforms.
Finding creators, connecting with them, negotiating terms, approving content, and managing payments is extremely time-consuming and doesn’t scale.

Your time is your most valuable asset. Protect it at all costs.
As a founder you should 100% not be taking calls with people that randomly slide in your DMs, even if they offer potential business opportunities.
Unless it is an obvious inbound sales lead, I require people to propose an agenda before I commit to a call. And usually I still decline 90% of proposed agendas unless that agenda is relevant to my currently goals.
Anyone who takes offense to this is probably not someone you want to have a call with anyway.

You will learn WAY more by solving the problem manually without software before building out a scalable solution.

Today I am going to be focused on improving the content verification system on Tunnl.io. While our current success rate is about 98%, the eventual goal is 99.9%.
Still a long way to go, but the performance is pretty incredible given the limited amount of data we have collected thus far!
