The BBC did a podcast episode about @balajis.eth concept of network states and focused on the Praxis network state idea.

They framed it right wing and overall a very tech bro idea, that nobody really needs.

This episode has a very conspiratorial tone. I don’t know if it’s worth your time but if you’re interested, here’s a link.

To be happy at home, said Johnson, is the end of all human endeavour. As long as we are thinking only of natural values we must say that the sun looks down on nothing half so good as a household laughing together over a meal, or two friends talking over a pint of beer, or a man alone reading a book that interests him; and that all economics, politics, laws, armies, and institutions, save in so far as they prolong and multiply such scenes, are a mere ploughing the sand and sowing the ocean, a meaningless vanity and vexation of spirit.

— C. S. Lewis
Didn’t know that Glenn Gould had such a harsh opinion on Mozart.

“A bad composer who died too late rather than too early” — Glenn Gould

I definitely don’t share his opinion.
The Roman Empire would have survived if they had used their advertising space properly. 😉

I love these architecture videos from AD (Architectural Digest)

This video is about airport design, the balance between efficiency and aesthetics.

I myself prefer smaller airports (shorter distances etc.)

Have a great Sunday!

In the UK they have an CPU/GPU organ. The sound is generated by controlling the revolutions of the cooling fans.

The songs are generated by AI with training data from choirs.

It’s the second time I’ve received a boost. Thank you, it’s a nice gesture and I appreciate it very much.

But to be honest, I like to fly under the radar.

(I don’t like the pressure to make the most of it in 24h - I can’t just come up with anything interesting and I don’t like to cast anything just to be seen)

Found something really interesting.

A route planner for the Roman Empire.
Calculate the route, time and costs that would have been required to travel to Rome, Corinth, Colonia, etc.
