'Attracta - 吸引' is a generative art project that delves into this realm, transforming the intricate and often unseen elegance of attractors into a visual demonstration of art. The butterfly effect, as a quintessential example of how attractors function in chaotic systems, underscores the profound interconnectedness and sensitivity of such systems to initial conditions, paving the way for a deeper appreciation of the underlying order within the apparent randomness of the universe. At its core, 'Attracta - 吸引' employs 12 distinct models of attractors, each adjustable through dozens of parameters, offering a boundless canvas of complexity and beauty. This versatility in the project's design approach enables the creation of visuals that range from the subtly simple to the profoundly complex, mirroring the vast array of patterns made by just...points. Coupled with the choice of 21 trichromatic palettes, the project guarantees an endless variety of unique, aesthetically balanced outcomes. These unprecedented graphical representations challenge and expand our understanding of aesthetic mathematics, presenting viewers with novel perspectives on the captivating interplay between order and chaos. <p>This work sought to simulate a still life painting, (maybe) painted by someone who (like me) uses art to express their feelings.</p> <p>We all have people in our lives that we don't want to forget, or that we don't want to be forgotten by, whether it's a family member, a friend or a loved one, and just like the flowers represented in this work, our existence in the world is temporary. Afterward, all that remains for the people we met is the memory of who we were and everything we did.</p> <p>Trying to be remembered, this person paints and creates to leave his mark on the world and in the lives of people he loves, to touch the hearts of those who admire him and to feel worthy of this admiration, but also, to feel proud of yourself.</p> <p>For the pleasure of feeling alive with each brushstroke, for the desire to see his work being exposed to the world, reaching people that he alone could never reach, if it weren't for art!</p> <p>Months were dedicated to this project, as the journey progressed this work became more personal than I could ever imagine. Hodl the Fotn #1

This work seeks to preserve the ethos, humor, and subversive spirit of web3 through its jargons for generations to come. From the simple ".show" and ".hide" to the cryptic "hodl" and "buidl," every expression connects to the collective consciousness of the web3 community. In the future, we would want to look back and feel the energy of today in remnants that will be as alive as before: pulsating word art with a live on-chain font. Projected in 3D space, each piece lends itself to open interpretation with varying character z-order: "drain" may appear as "d rain" (the rain) or "dr ain" (Dr Self). **EDITING BAR** Each piece is bundled with an editor, reminiscent of the early digital typeface design interfaces. Early digital fonts were bitmaps and were poor to read at small sizes. But, they served their purpose. This is a tribute to those good old days! + To show or hide the editing toolbar, CLICK on or TOUCH the text. + You can enter text into the textbox and customize it (Best for three-six-letter words). + Use the [+] and [-] "Size" buttons to change text size. + Use the [+] and [-] "3D" buttons to change the 3D depth. + Use the [+] and [-] "Align H" buttons to align the text horizontally. + Use the [+] and [-] "Align V" buttons to align the text vertically. + Use the [Freeze] button to pause the animation. It changes to a [Play] button, which can be pressed to resume the animation. + CLICK on or TOUCH the [Save] button to download the current frame to .png. + CLICK on or TOUCH outside the text area on the canvas to change the text style and colors. + Only alphabets, numbers, and the following are allowed: .,()_-^;: + Works best in Chrome for PC and Android **PROCESS** Each character is mapped to a series of numbers (maximum of 15) that represent unique coordinates on the canvas. Then, I use a switch system, where the numbers for each character indicate the coordinates to be switched on. Switching on a coordinate means a cube is drawn based on it. The group of cubes align to depict the characters in a given word. Subsequently, parameters such as the index of a given character in the word are used to adjust the coordinates of the cubes. **TRAITS** **Main Trait** The main trait is the Word Play. Its variants: + Regular: The standard form + Sleeper: (rare) one character is rotated to sleep: it vs _.t + Puzzle: (rare) one or more characters are replaced with "_" or "." + Inversion: (very rare) some characters are swapped: hold vs hodl + Replacement: (rare) some characters are replaced with a simile; rekt vs r3kt + Formula: (very rare) text written in notation + Dotted: (rare) text preceded by a period **Other traits:** Back Style; Emboss Depth; Font Size; Text; Text Length (number of characters in the text). **ACKNOWLEDGMENTS** Special thanks to Jimi Wen for his invaluable input as always.
