no tech has supported creators more than erc721 did.
my thoughts on contentcoins
- the zora app is very similar to the pumpfun app. main difference is the users are not all faceless.
- there is a lot millennial web2 fingerprints on the gymnastics of fitting the terminology, but a contentcoin is still a memecoin.
- my main concern on the communication - “supporting creators” - is that it’s not accurate.
because whenever you add liquidity to an equation, the incentive to buy becomes profit, not support..
if the case was supporting creators, then why not just sell erc20 tokens of the content for 1$, and if someone wants to create a liquidity pool because they see an incentive to do so, they are free to do that.

corporate greed strips away the joy out of walking into a local coffee shop.
local bakery. local burger place.
people seek warmth and community.
that’s why we fucking travel to japan or beirut for authenticity. many smaller U.S. cities have it as well.

as someone who was once a champion of the cosmos ecosystem, i find it quite mystifying that in 2022, the ETH community looked at the modular ecosystem that cosmos built, and thought....

does anyone know the best way to do this:
- i want to create a store that allows NFT holders /pixelglyphs to be able to order a hoodie with custom embroidery based on the glyphs they hold in their wallet.
simply connect wallet -> order hoodie
money/order goes straight to manufacturer. i am just a website.
so just need the manufacturer, i can build the frontend.
maybe @ted knows someone that knows someone?

love this story.
conspiracy corner.
someone sent 603ETH ($1.65m) to the burn address and attached messages to the transactions making allegations against executives of a Chinese hedge fund:
“Kuande Investments’ CEO, Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi, used brain-machine weapons to persecute all current and former company employees—even they themselves were controlled.”

For a good many of us, it comes to that.”

and its all connected.
as if the USA has been subsidizing the entire world for decades.

symbol: Luigo
bio: A 27-year-old software engineer from Seattle, he graduated with honors in Computer Science from Stanford and works at a tech startup. Raised in an upper-middle-class family, he excelled academically, was valedictorian of his private high school, and participated in Stanford’s robotics club and a think tank on emerging technologies.
persona: A techno-libertarian with a heterodox worldview, champions technological solutions to social and environmental issues while opposing government overreach and corporate exploitation, particularly in healthcare and finance. Though an advocate for equality, he critiques extreme identity politics, favoring rational, evidence-based approaches over emotional rhetoric. he views the current healthcare system as fundamentally broken. Despite his rationalism and environmentalism, his darkest act—a CEO’s killing—casts a shadow over his complex blend of anti-corporatism, skepticism, and visionary ideals.
