I had worked with Proxy last year on a couple of things from The Haberdashery ($DEGEN DAO) to being the first, or one of the first, products showcased in Proxy Studios (OnShelf.xyz - RIP) for community feedback.
I’m personally pretty blindsided by this news. I really looked up to him. He was able to build community in a way that I haven’t seen before. He had deep knowledge in spaces I wasn’t too clear on. His product sense was on point.
I feel for him and the Clanker team, and hope that they are able to work through this.

Had to leave Farcon early. Y’all are amazing. FarCon felt more like a Dead and Company show to me than a ‘conference.’ I think that says something special about what we’re building and I plan to write on this at some point.

hi @coinbase - Pretty sure there is a bug with your web3 wallet migration. see attached video.
when I go to select an asset to send ($higher), the screen defaults to ETH and I can only send out ETH.
I did that accidentally and now I have no ETH to cover gas to send other assets out.

The world is tough right now. Feelings are normal.
For the past few weeks, I have been having doomsday related feelings/ anxiety. Not too intrusive, but frequently in the back of my mind. Questions of: What’s the point? Is this even worth it? The world feels out of control to me, which makes me feel out of control.
This book has given me tactics to ‘unhook’ from this anxiety and continue living the life I want to live. I haven’t finished it yet, but sharing in case anyone else can relate / it’s helpful.

$ZORA airdrop got me back in the app coining.
I’ve gotta say, @jacob and team have made a lot of improvements since app launch.
The low mcap start is awesome - seeing some artists from the nft days post art that is probably valued fairly. Seeing other content creators actually earn something, even if it’s not much, at least it’s something.
I commend the Zora team for continuing to push boundaries and ask what if. I understand why the industry is up in arms, especially with an airdrop, especially because “NFTs are dead,” but what Zora has going on is special and fun. It’s different.

Lot of bad takes on CT re: the Base coin(s) yesterday
Feels like they are largely missing the point because many of them haven't really been paying attention, too focused on claiming that Base rugged (they didn't) when in reality some snipers got in for 25% of the supply early and them dumping + the second coin launch caused a massive selloff
I still find the contentcoin model to be broken and misaligned: good for creators because no downside and free money but really no upside for buyers which I think will lead to exhaustion
That's what I take issue with more than Base launching a bunch of coins (although I think that's odd too for a brand and they could've communicated it a lot better to avoid the situation)
I am all for experimentation and innovating on onchain models for creators, businesses, etc. but I do find it strange that Base is so insanely aligned with one company on this and are hellbent on pushing *that specific model* forward, acting almost as if they're the ones who invented and built it
