My very first /paragraph! Inspired by my recent visit to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, here I start an essay about the roots of crypto art and its possible connection with conventional art movements, while comparing artworks from now and then.

It's always sad to have to lower the resolution to post something, and for the banner contest I needed a low quality (1500 x 500 px), so here's a better version for you guys.
In crypto art, we have to be quick and follow the trends. Sometimes it's harder to create so fast, especially depending on your media or creative process, and thus we can't let any work be in vain.
I spent the whole weekend working a banner for /degen contest, and then I had a fairly ready Degenerate character using a top hat and in a bowing position. All I had to do was to finish up his body, change the background, and voilá, commemorative artwork for "Degen day" 😁 😁 if you guys like it, go grab a copy on rodeo.

I was scrolling through Instagram and came across this and it really resonated with me, especially over the past six months. Working in research isn’t necessarily harder than other jobs, but it does demand a lot from one's mind. The work is always with me, constantly running through my head, whether I'm at home or it’s 3 AM on a Sunday. Disconnecting can feel almost impossible.
Unless...
I do something inspiring. Drawing, reading novels, or playing the guitar have always helped me. But what truly transformed my life was making art a part of my daily routine. The key here is the word active. Instead of passively admiring inspiration, I began actively creating it, every-single-day. Putting in the effort to craft something that inspires me, and more importantly, sharing it with others—that’s what made all the difference for me.
It’s in that act of creation, of putting myself out there, that I really start to feel free, to feel alive.
