almost got thrown out of trivia last night for highly protesting the fact that my answer 'lactate', was not accepted for the answer that they wanted 'lactic acid' 🤣 insult to injury was that they accepted the other team's answer of 'santa monica' for what should have been only 'venice beach'
Ready to put on the lbs!
I love how this wisteria has become one with this evergreen
One beer was missing from the flight so I ended up judging Amber lagers last night... I'm assigned Strong British and Belgian beers tonight

I'm judging Strong Belgian Ales tonight and not sure what I'm slated for yet tomorrow... fingers crossed for something great!
Brutal... how many letter combinations is this even possible for? There was still debate about what to choose on that last one, luckily I picked the right letter

I'm certain this is a gateway to an enchanted realm
I'm curious what people think this means
Over a decade ago, I lived/worked in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Even then, my Co-workers were convinced that an invasion was imminent. Every day when I look at this in my home office, I'm reminded of how beautiful that city was and can't even believe what's become of it.
Wasn't fast enough to snap a pic, but today I noticed a cardinal tidying up after the squirrels

I'm slowly making progress as well... But the squirrels tend to get them first
4 out of 5 free spin wins on warpslot today 🤣
Yesterday, I discovered the largest patch of ramps I've ever seen in my life. I'm afraid to take a photo out of fear of revealing its location
Today's foraged adventure... Redbud blossoms
The people most worried about generative AI causing problems for humanity underestimate the power that 'enshittification' has over "for profit" tech companies... it's the open source efforts that we really need to worry about 🤣
Some back yard harvested asparagus and fiddleheads with a few ramps for added flavor... Love when I can start contributing to dinner without going to the supermarket

Today I started following the recommended 'methylation protocol' for my genes from SelfDecode. I was really intrigued by some of the findings when I initially read it a month or so ago. Since that time, I've researched the recommended supplements and stopped taking a few that were likely causing more issues. Will update after a month or so of trying it.

Kind of tired of my wife saying "I'm a jawn not a yinz" 🤣
Definitely not the ideal weather for this, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity

I basically organized a whole trip around trying this and it was fantastic! I'm all for tech companies going hard on recreating their favorite cuisine

The Warhol Museum is always fun for someone who has never been. Dancing Gnome is great and Church Brew Works is fun for the space but kinda basic otherwise. Nice MLB stadium too if there’s a game.
Multi channel alternatives to the big ad serving players for SMBs?

We need a name for people who go on 'vacation' with pretty much no plans other than a general city destination; maybe a few points of interest in mind; and then just wing it while trying to hit as many local gem businesses as possible and avoid big corporations and franchise spots

Mike Mitchell's The Visitors was the first NFT project that I got involved in that had a real community. It was also one of the early NFT projects on Polygon which got me involved in all of the joy that goes along with using alt-ethereum/L2/L3 chains. Because of this, this guy will always hold a special place in my heart!
