this week at /deform we built a new enterprise-facing user auth + onboarding flow using Firebase + SMS / OTP, combining that with Privy's third-party auth flow.
This allows us to continue using Privy as the source of truth for our users database but have other auth mechanisms that offer more flexible login options!

This week @deform, I worked on infrastructure changes to split up the DeForm Forms app and the DeForm Campaigns app - previously they were integrated as one frontend repo, but as they are both growing rapidly and we need to be able to iterate quicker, I split them up as separate "zones" (borrowing from Next.js' multi-zone concept)

Noticing differences between Warpcast state & protocol state, likely due to shadow-banned users on Warpcast.
I foresee @deform customers being confused about the discrepancy since Warpcast is the de facto client. How would y'all recommend getting Warpcast's version of the state of the world?

what's the most optimal way to check whether a user has liked/recasted a particular cast?
it looks like the best way is to paginate through a given user's like/recast history and hope that we find the data in the first couple of pages (or the user hasn't done much).
just trying to see if there's a better way!

interesting challenge we ran into yesterday for @deform
many users were unable to connect their Twitter account due to one of the Twitter OAuth APIs returning a 404. we think it was some kind of rate limiting or an unannounced decrease in allowed throughput

it made me realize how brittle building our online presence on these platforms are, and infinitely more bullish on decentralized social
