Working on AI Agents forced me to lean into AI for coding in general, which has been a great thing. Cursor+Claude is a great combo, especially the new MCP support. One thing its really highlighted for me, though, is that AI is not ready to replace developers at any level. You need experience to guide and understand agent-produced code. The only way you get that experience is working your way up through the trenches. AI doesn't replace truly understanding how systems work. It does give you a huge productivity boost though!

New, best, open source model today:
"Reflection 70B holds its own against even the top closed-source models (Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o).
It’s the top LLM in (at least) MMLU, MATH, IFEval, GSM8K.
Beats GPT-4o on every benchmark tested.
It clobbers Llama 3.1 405B. It’s not even close."

Google AI summary at the top of search is really bad. It’s not been helpful once for me since the rollout. This might be the product of how I search now though.
