Today I appreciate a wonderful few days where I spent time with family, camped with friends, deepened relationships and challenged my beliefs.
I started the trip with a mantra: No need to chase. What I want and need finds me.

Stops include the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking, Queen Elizabeth National Park for a land and water safaris, and Lake Bunyonyi for rest and relaxation. Those adventures will be sandwiched between time in Kigali. Should be an amazing trip across Rwanda and Uganda. 🌍
Still have a long to-do list to prepare. Will keep ya posted.

Yesterday, I noticed my 7yo niece watching some kids painting pumpkins. I asked if she would join and she said she didn’t want to. I asked if she was sure and she shrugged her shoulders.
I asked how she would decide.
She asked to see my hands so they could represent each option. She started with “eeny, meeny, miny, moe.” I stopped her and said we could decide a better way.
I asked her why she didn’t want to join the kids and she admitted she was afraid. I asked her the reasons behind the fear and we discussed each one. We realized the stories she told herself about what would happen might not be true. By the end, she was smiling and decided to paint.
Uncovering and challenging fear helps us move forward confidently. Life is good. ✨

Investments can speak for themselves if you dyor. Learn about projects outside of Base, too.
And never invest more than you can watch go to zero! Seriously. Take care of home before playing this game.
