How do other toddler (or older) parents feel about using language like "big girls/boys don't do that"?

On the one hand, it could be seen as shaming.

On the other, it's providing a standard for them to strive towards.

Kinda wild that less than a year ago you still had people saying “autonomous cars are still a decade out”… and now I drive by autonomous taxis every day in Austin.

Today was the first day I really felt the benefits of my 5,000-words-a-day experiment last month.

Without trying particularly hard, I ended up hitting 4,237, an unthinkable number a few months or year ago.

Feels good to get back into a rucking routine.

Gets you into a flow state so quickly, and much easier on the joints than running 😌
