Following the market cooling, the number of wallets trading on Ethereum DEXs has dropped sharply to around 40,000 wallets/day, the lowest level in 12 months. Total volume in March also plummeted to $57 billion, down by half from the peak in December 2024.
The ratio of DEX trading volume compared to CEX exchanges has not fluctuated too much, showing that users are not leaving DeFi, but are looking for more cost-effective options such as Base and Solana.

Last week, the SEC withdrew its appeal. Today, Ripple reciprocated, officially dropping its lawsuit against the SEC after four years.
Ripple will pay a more lenient penalty than expected. Of the $125 million fine, Ripple will only have to pay $50 million, and the remaining $75 million will be fully refunded. The SEC also asked the court to lift all restrictions previously imposed on Ripple.
Now all that remains is for the Commission to vote and the court proceedings to be completed. But basically, it's settled, everything is closed - a historic victory for Ripple and Crypto!
