Always avoided Hyde Park in the past as I thought it was too touristy, but on Sunday it was just beautiful
Women and web3 - should we even still be having the discussion in these terms? Here's our deep dive on the topic https://digitalfrontier.com/articles/web3-women-builders-crypto
If you are looking for something random and very London to do this weekend, can I recommend the parade in commemoration of Charles I? It's on Sunday and organised by the English Civil War Society. Starts on the Mall. My pics from last year.
This one got a lot of pick-up on X so thought I should share here too: my breakdown of why so many are saying 2025 is the year of the stablecoin https://digitalfrontier.com/articles/2025-stablecoin-adoption-regulation-stripe-shopify
Buns From Home - good pastry but nothing unusual for a modern bakery. Wonder why all the hype?
Some kind of AI note-taking app will soon be as second-nature to us as spell check. Granola co-founder Chris Pedregal told me about his efforts to build that product, and what will happen next.

With Gary Gensler on the way out, what could the next SEC chair's approach be to the thorny question of what counts as a security? I examined the origins of the debate for Digital Frontier https://digitalfrontier.com/articles/Howey-test-history-SEC-Florida
Spent my week writing about how the 1920s Florida land boom and a pioneering orange-grower shaped the future of crypto regulation, wbu? https://digitalfrontier.com/articles/Howey-test-history-SEC-Florida
Loved speaking to @raechellambert about her plans for River, and how she got big names on board.

Heading home from episode 200 meet-up in London. Here's hoping there are many more!
I'm off to the All In Podcast episode 200 London meetup tonight. Anyone else?
My take on the channel changes, which are admirable but which I hope won't make a niche platform nicher

Just finished drafting my spicy take on the channels changes 🤐
Saw the tube's rail-grinder yesterday. Apparently it gives the tracks a quick shave to reduce that screeching sound you hear on the train.
Ok it's messy but it was delicious. Roasted aubergine, noodles, broccoli, egg, gochujang-peanut sauce.
My latest article is about the tokenized gold market, and whether the influx of new products can help move the sector beyond its niche status https://digitalfrontier.com/articles/gold-record-high-tokenisation-investing
I love when Taylor is in town. The glittery outfits, mothers and daughters, fathers and daughters, groups of friends with suitcases and tour T-shirts. Warms my heart. I hope she comes back every year.
Should AI agents have bank accounts?
Something I'm pondering at the moment. If tools trying to replicate executive assistants want to live up to their promise, they'll need access to funds. For booking flights, managing bills, paying for dry-cleaning & meals.
Does that look like a corporate credit card? A wallet?
The most interesting ideas on this definitely seem to be on-chain. Any other projects doing work on this question?

Writing an article about whether AI agents should have their own bank accounts. Know someone I should talk to about that? Let me know.
Just when you think this trend has become as crazy as it can be, I promise you it gets weirder...

My colleague Amelia will be in Paris for a couple of days next week. Any suggestions for cool tech/startup people she should meet while she's there?
