I wonder if this is a good or a bad decision. I have to wonder the bill could be worse than shutting down, but only see the worse at a later date. OR is shutting down worse? Seems like Musk wants to shut it down anyway. Or tear it apart.

Honest opinion about Degen.
I will always have a soft spot for Degen. It’s what brought me here full time, and it got me out of a lot of pinches last year. The community was fun.
I also see the reason why things like tipping has drastically changed. We as humans, exerted basically human nature.
I’m not sure what is different, but I keep forgetting about my tips, and I don’t bounce around in the degen community as much.
I would like to start that back up again. So I suppose I need a refresher. What are good things to tip around this community? Tell me what you are doing, so I can learn more!

Tell you what though. I’ve had more fun on farcaster in the last few weeks than I’ve ever had I think. Just babbling at people and folks babbling at me.

How do you all feel about your health?
With the weight loss journey and process;
I’m trying to go for just changing my habits when it comes to matters of the body. I realize I need to take better care of myself. A good place to start is literally with my health.
So far I’m down 9 pounds with this program, but I am down 20 pounds from the start of the year. I don’t have a weight loss goal, but I do have a health goal. I need to be healthy enough to keep up with my niece and nephew when they come home this summer.

What do you think the potential is of farcaster overtaking at least one social media protocol is by 2028?
This is what I think is finally coming back to farcaster. Community, knowledge, and support. It’s not about who’s going to this conference and that conference.
(It seems like more of the people who got rejected from the conference that shall not be named bring more to the table than some of the people who got invited but that’s not the point here)
It’s about who’s coming here, who’s being brought here, and who is sharing knowledge, who’s becoming more knowledgeable, and who’s getting better every day because of it.
The market is pretty trash, but im grateful to be here in farcaster.

Three months ago I did something very stupid.
I borrowed money and locked it in degen vault. With degen being down 85% since then that would have cost me my whole portfolio in a week when it was due. luckily I have @jpfraneto.eth notifications on and I saw him cast about a token which he rarely does. So I did some research on X and saw @mleejr and @deployer tweet about it. Found @ramsey doing a bunch of trading on it on @interface and @madyak was casting about it. So I got myself some at 2M mc. well I just cashed out at 27M mc. I don't care if it goes to the moon $DRB lived up to it's name and just relieved me of my debt.

I noticed this from someone today and it's content that doesn't even fit FC compared to the intended audience on X, just shows they are not actually spending time here

1. How many of these folks are there.
2. Do they bring benefit to the community or detriment.
3. I know of a bunch of “networks” that can seemingly root out suspicious behavior, that would be the answer here. But.
4. I acknowledge there are hundreds of ways to see false positives.
So i suppose 1 answer is to cut the suspected automation (was bout to say gang but that’s a little too on the nose) from the DAU.
What are the metrics that farcaster investors want to see when it comes to continued movement of this protocol? I know DAU is up there. But I’m going to assume longevity is just as high. If so, these bots or people who are almost identical to bots, or gangs, or whatever.
