Iām running out of forgiveness. I do my best to stay active and play by the rules- but to be facing possibly losing a month of tips, with no warning, is just cruel. Itās making it hard for me to feel valued and trust the team, if everything Iāve earned this month can be taken away like this.
The tokenized art space faces hurdlesābig ones, complex onesābut Iāve accepted that I canāt solve them all. What I can do is stay true to my vision as an artist, and that matters.
At times, I feel the weight of the NFT stigma, especially in contemporary art circles. When introduced as āthe photographer who sells NFTs,ā I instinctively brace for judgment. But then, I stand tall. I share my art, my inspirations, and why I chose to tokenize my digital originalsāhow it connects to the history and future of photography.
And you know what? People listen. They see my passion. They ask questions. Onboarding collectors remains a challenge, but the conversations? Theyāre shifting.
I canāt fix everything, but I can contribute. And Iām proud to do my part.

A portrait of a stallion, from my series Wild Mustangs. The way the mud clings to its faceāalmost like natureās own brushstrokesāadds to its raw, untamed beauty.

$DEGEN tipping is about rewarding valuable content on Farcaster. We get itāeveryone wants to earn and make moneyābut it has to align with supporting creators adding real value. If farming outweighs value creation, weāll adjust. Stick to the ethos: build the community, not just your bag.
Heartbroken to learn of AlphaTrilogy's passing. A true champion of digital photography, his passion for this evolving medium and belief in my workālike his acquisition of Plate 15, Ebbing Tideāmeant so much to me. Grateful we connected through art. Rest in peace. š¤

These three images are the only photographs I've ever tokenized as editions. Theyāre pieces of a larger story Iām proud to tell: one of curiosity, humor, preservation, and celebration. These works werenāt just created to be seen; they were meant to connect on a broader scaleāto share moments that bring us closer, even across time and space.
As we stand in the winds of change, I find myself reflecting on the ever-shifting landscapes and communities we call home.
What does āhomeā mean to you? Is it a physical place, a feeling of belonging, or something else entirely?

With another crypto art marketplace shutting down, itās a reminder of the challenges we face. Artists and collectors share the responsibility to preserve their work. Platforms may come and go, but the artistās role in safeguarding this digital legacy is more important than ever.
Reflecting on my SR Genesis, a piece that captures a part of my home, California. In light of the devastating LA fires, Iām reminded of how fragile our surroundings can be. Itās why documenting this placeāits beauty, its essenceāfeels so important. We never know when things might change, or when parts of what we love could be lost forever.
Celebrated the marriage of two friends on Thursday, it was a beautiful ceremony and dinner hosted in the most gorgeous gardens š but I felt many emotions as I celebrated this special moment while also seeing the devastation happening to friends nearby in LA.
As wildfires once again impact our communities, my thoughts are with everyone in Los Angeles and beyond who are facing this crisis. Truly devastating news.

Reflecting on the recent interest in Bitcoin inscriptions and the idea of permanence; stone is one of the most permanent materials, these etchings have been here for centuries. Will our digital tokens last longer? Maybe, maybe not.

As I reflect on the journey of my work in the digital art space, Iām reminded of when I first authenticated my collection Wild Mustangs on OpenSea years ago. The provenance of those works, is tied to the earlier OS shared contract, holding a unique significance to my journey.
While new platforms like Rodeo are gaining attention for making digital art more social and accessible, Iāve chosen to focus on building upon the legacy of my early works and the conversations they inspire.
The history and provenance of my art are fundamental to its significance, with each piece carrying a unique story. The rarity of the original digital work adds to its depth, as it represents a singular moment in timeāan irreplaceable connection to the past. This journey of creation is about more than just the finished product; itās about preserving something valuable and authentic.

In my work, the past is never far away. Its echoes live in every choice I make, every image I create, guiding me as I explore the present. History holds stories that remind us where we come from and why we continue forward, and I find endless inspiration in its patterns, textures, and lessons.
But art is also about the here and nowāabout engaging with the fleeting moments of the present and capturing something timeless within them. Itās a way of grounding myself while imagining what comes next, of honoring whatās behind us while daring to build something new.
Through my photography, I try to weave these threads together. The past is a lens through which I interpret the world, but the present is where I seek clarity and connection. This balance feels especially poignant in our digital age, where the tools of creation and preservation constantly evolve, allowing us to explore these ideas in ways previous generations couldnāt have imagined.

My work with the Wild Mustangs holds a profound place in my creative journey. It was the first body of work I ever authenticated on the blockchain, inspiring the foundation of my smart contract and Plates. Even the ASCII art embedded in my smart contract is derived from this work, forever linking my artistic evolution to its origins onchain. These images capture a story of resilience, freedom, and the timeless connection between past and presentāprinciples that continue to guide and inspire my work.
Iām thrilled to announce my photograph "Moon and Fog", a 2017 digital silver gelatin print, will be shown in the Winter Solstice exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Photography. This piece shares a unique history, bridging my digital creations with analog print formatsāa process that merges past and present in the art of photography.
Iām also deeply honored that my piece was chosen as the main image for the show on social mediaāitās a truly humbling moment.

True to his name, 'Elvis' captured hearts with his wild, windswept maneāI like to think he knew he was a star. He even took center stage during the 2016 New Year's Day Rose Parade, embracing every moment.

Your dreams are uniquely yoursāno one else can bring them to life the way you can. The journey isnāt always easy, but inspiration is born from the quiet persistence of following your vision. The world you imagine is waiting for you to create it. Never let go of what drives you forward and gives your life meaning.
Cambriaās coast has a way of pulling me into the presentāits rugged cliffs, shifting tides, and endless horizon remind me of natureās quiet power. These images arenāt just landscapes; theyāre reflections of stillness and connection, of the moments when the world feels both vast and intimate.
Happy Thanksgiving. Iām grateful for everyone Iāve connected with through digital art and the endless possibilities this digital future holds. Wishing you a day filled with warmth, friends, and family.
The physical analog editions serve to reaffirm the digital originality of my Plates. They coexist to amplify the digital's value, giving it a presence that extends beyond the screen. By creating a crafted, tangible counterpart, the physical editions highlight the authenticity of the digital originals, making their uniqueness even more profound. The digital remains the core, while the physical supports and enhances its narrative.
The mustangs, running across the landscape, embody the raw spirit of freedom and resilience. Each image captures their powerful movements, a testament to survival and strength in the face of uncertainty. These moments are about more than just horsesāthey reflect the enduring wildness within us all, the instinct to remain unbroken, no matter how rugged the path.

The physical editions are a crafted echo of the digital originals. My āPlatesā draw inspiration from the traditional photographic plates of the analog era, where each image was meticulously cataloged. In this digital collection, each āPlateā stands as a testament to originalityāa record in an ongoing catalog of unique work. The physical editions add a tactile dimension to the story, honoring the craft, while the digital remains the true essence and core of the work.
The digital is the originalāa new paradigm in photography where the image's true form exists in its digital state. This shift redefines what it means to create and preserve photographic art, offering a modern, innovative approach while still respecting the timeless beauty of the physical print. The physical editions support this new vision, amplifying the depth and presence of the digital, yet the digital remains the heart of the work, unaltered and pure.

Your vision is your superpowerātrust it, believe in it, and let it guide you.
The wild horses I photograph embody a spirit of freedom and resilienceāa reminder of what it means to be untamed and true to oneself. Capturing them is more than just a visual journey; itās a quiet conversation with nature, a chance to witness the raw beauty of life unfolding without restraint.
