Was at the Victoria and Albert museum yesterday, and saw this instrument - The Baryton 🎻
This is what the description said:
The baryton was a bass instrument with two sets of strings, one played with a bow, the other plucked or allowed to vibrate to create harmonies. Principally a chamber music instrument, it was particularly popular in central Europe. One enthusiast was Prince Nikolaus Esterházy, who performed baryton works composed by his court musician Joseph Haydn
When I studied music, I learnt about that last bit, so was happy to see it referenced in the wild 😜

- be content 😁

Quick note on this, made a few revisions to the behind the numbers section - as am reviewing all my songs one by one for my second post. 16(not 15)songs were written before jan 1st/are covers. and rather than saying I wrote new creations, I have said that I released 84 that were completed after jan 1st. I am now realising this is pretty pointless, but I think it's important to recognize that some of my songs had random Ideas that I had accumulated over time 😅😅

Song 99 - Changes, it's an acoustic song, but it really sucked the life out of me, songwriting was difficult today - think it was the nerves.

In Istanbul rn, the city of cats, there are over 100, 000 stray cats in this city that are communally cared for by the locals, there are laws in place to protect the animals from harm and capture, moreover the cats are all sterilized by law.
They are all really friendly and love being petted, a cat lover's dream!

Just realised something with the help of scripting with @askgina.eth. Songwriting is a muscle that can be developed, but it also has some magic towards it - some of my best songs came out of nowhere, and I can attribute that to both practice, and magic 🪄🪄🪄
