My home server was doing a remote backup to an S3-compatible storage provider once a week. They cranked up prices a few months ago (!!) and it was now costing over $20/month, so I decided to drop it and backup to my parents' home.

I just had a big unexpected discussion with my wife because I want to introduce my 5-year old to AI image generation (with Stable Diffusion, all local).
She is very concerned that it will kill her passion for drawing and painting. I think they are tools that need learning, and lots of it, and they are the future.
