@ghostbo4.eth @youzzzerneim.eth @vekvaio @uriana - thank you guys for participating😘 I did have some fun♥️ Luckily, we've got a winner - @chayna - congrats dear! Your intuition is on point! 🎊
I’ve been so eager for this delivery because there’s nowhere nearby to get freshly roasted coffee. Supermarket coffee is ancient history – no comparison to truly fresh beans, right?😉

Have any of you ever tried putting 70%+ drinking chocolate powder in with coffee grounds for a pour over
Really clean. Takes a while for the full pour to finish since the chocolate is so fine, but it’s a great result IMO. The best of the chocolate comes through, quite delicious.

trying a new 70% spicy drinking chocolate with allspice, cayenne peppers, cinnamon, and pasilla chile
It ain't so bad living in a city with a long history of chocolate.
Their dark hot chocolate is delicious. Love it with a bit of cinammon - can you ever have enough of that? I don't think so.

Tea time. 🫖
Today I learned that people in East Frisia, a region in North West Germany are the biggest tea drinkers - with 300 litre tea per capita every year
I know where I should go some time. Their tea museum.

for anyone curious:
hot cacao is a powder with sugar added which is mixed with hot water or milk. the consistency is therefore fairly thin, but can be quick and tasty.
hot chocolate aka drinking chocolate is flakes or chunks of real chocolate (not cacao powder) which are then melted and mixed with heated milk. the texture is way thicker and can be served as an intense shot or more of a latte consistency.
unlike cacao mixes, drinking chocolate is available in a variety of high-quality chocolates from milk (< 50%) to dark (70-80%), single origin i.e. specific varietals/lots, mixed with spices like chili, etc.
