do we love talking about infra because it matters or do we love talking about infra because it let's us flex our tacit knowledge?
they carried it for an hour before throwing it in the river
“real life no need waste energy to editing,..” 💯
There was a "social experiment documentary" called Boys Alone that came out of the UK in 2002.

Ten boys between eight and eleven live for five days in a big house, totally unsupervised. It's awesome and I highly recommend watching it.

But I couldn't help but notice that not a single one of these little bros would look out of place in Williamsburg.

I just spent 20 minutes watching all the videos on my twitter fyp and fear I may have ruined it forever.

It's burrowed deeper into my reward center than I'd hoped. I was trying to hold it off.

Not sure what happens next.
who is doing things different?

I think about Beenslackin and this dancer I saw on tik tok whose account I can't ever find.

who comes to mind for you?
Part of the promise of web3 is "creator rewards".

Jools Lebron will make some money from platform expansion following "demure + mindful". Small brand deals and probably merch.

Merch is sort of Web2's answer to creator rewards now that I think about it. Hawk Tuah merch. That kind of stuff. Not everything is merch-able though.

If we get way better at creator rewards what kind of negative behaviors might get incentivized?

I guess going viral is already a goal for most creators. Will it get worse? What impact will that have on what is created?

feels like Poland is moving up the list of culturally influential countries in the US

I can't explain why i feel this way
Lots of people that "don't really like" electronic music talked about loving the Challengers score.

One of my favorite definitions of music is that it helps one feel their emotions more deeply. Of any variety, in any direction.

Do you think people were more willing to enjoy the music when it accompanied the visuals and emotions of the film?

Film as a gateway to new kinds of music is kind of cool.
elon/trump twitter space last night was gloom
i've been wondering about uses of words like demure, yapper, delulu, etc.

they get stale very quickly.

there is a brief period where using them indicates VIP status.

but eventually they become passé and stagnate as cultural artifacts.

might be cool to think back on them, but they're no longer the culture.
Unreal! 5 golds. Every Olympics 2008-2024.
