I want to hire a service to help me do a Personal Security Audit. Do you know of such a service?
Ended up getting a Purple Harmony pillow and really happy with it, thanks @bias @rikasun for the rec in this thread. It's pricey but now I don't wake up with any neck pain after 4 years straight of sleeping on Airbnb pillows :)

What is a good alternative to TurboTax for US tax filing?
These were delivered to me approx. 6 months ago - I likely averaged something like 15K steps a day, so to be conservative lets say around 2M steps over the period

They've started to show serious wear and tear - should I be disappointed or is this par for the course for leather barefoots?

Does anyone have any alt brand recommendations?
Anyone use blue light blocking glasses? Do you have a recommendation for a specific model that you like?
let's say you read a lot of articles online (odds are you do) you get them from your rss feed, links from socials, friends, news media, etc. most of the time you read them and move on.

but...what do you do with the great articles/essays you can imagine reading and re-reading again and again? where do you stash them so the link doesn't break in 3 years, while on an airplane, flying over the rainforest?
wirecutter.com has been my go to site for buying the best thing, so much so that I would just blindly order the best recommended one in any category.

seems like they went paid now 😭

Any recommendations for similar review sites?

Trying to decide if I should:

1) stick with 1Password, which I’ve used for years with little to no issues, but which costs me money I don’t really need to spend considering 2&3 below

2) switch to ProtonPass which is included with my Proton subscription and features a nice email aliasing feature built in.

3) switch to Apple Passwords since I use Apple products pretty much exclusively, it would cost nothing, and would probably be fairly seamless in terms of UX

Thoughts? Things I’ve overlooked? Pros/cons? All are very welcome 🙏

migrating away from lightning so time to say goodbye to magsafe charger (which actually looked good on the mini!)
Always always always ask about the free upgrades.

A few years ago I had a trip to Phoenix in February. They had gobs of brand new sports car convertibles sitting around because “who wants a convertible in January?” — you bet I did, and for less than my compact car. Arbitrage the seasonal trade off.

Take it a step further: call around different spots to see who has the most inventory, *not* the exact vehicle you want. They’re more likely to work with you.
