One of the photos from my new photo project about sustainability.
You can see how I am obsessed with using the power of light and shadows and how Renaissance paintings inspire my photographic journey.

It's 1:30 AM here, and after a whole day of reading and working, my eyes are burning, and I’m getting sleepy. I still have more to read though. Tomorrow I have a debate with a philosopher friend, so I really need to finish my readings by tomorrow evening. But instead of doing that, I’m shopping on @rodeodotclub

I guess I miss my days in Italy…
Everything was dreamy.
The country, wine, pizza, people, award ceremony, meeting with other award winner photographers…
Everything like the nature .
Tandoor houses in Eastern Anatolia—these are still found in the villages. They’re separate from the main house and built just for baking bread. And the bread they make is absolutely amazing! Taking a good photo of them isn’t easy, but after all the work, sitting down and enjoying that fresh bread is a pleasure you can’t even imagine.
I’ve found my lost archive!!!
And of course, someone like me couldn't just go to Italy for an award ceremony without taking some photos. Here’s one of my absolute favorites... the vineyards. The scent of the wines that filled the air and enchanted me as I wandered through the streets is still fresh in my mind, as is the taste. What a memory!

I have a question fam, there is a decrease of about 3k in my degen tips that I have collected from yesterday to today. Both the degen web page and the frame show so. Other friends of mine have the same situation.
Does anyone know the reason? Dear @jacek probably, only you can give the correct answer
I always make sure to wake up before sunrise in Kayseri. It may be early, but it's worth it because it's the perfect time for photography, also known as the "golden time."

As I work at my table, I'm accompanied by the beautiful Goldberg Variations BWN 988 Aria playing on Spotify.

I take every task I do seriously, even in areas where I’m most experienced. This can be challenging at times, but no matter what, I need to be satisfied with what I create first—and I’m a hard person to please.
The work must continue. I need to use the power of art in the fight against violence towards women in the most effective way so that it also serves the purpose of my artistic journey.
Want to spread some romantic vibes to the timeline☺️

Hunter Tuncay's portrait. He hardly allowed me to take his picture. We chatted for over 1 hour, but after that, he said you are a good girl, and let me shoot his photos. He seems like a tough, bad-tempered, and closed man. But he opened himself up after our long talks. That's one of the reasons I love photography; I can touch people's lives and stories. He has been through so much difficulty that how can he not be stiff? Hunter Tuncay has seen deaths, prisons, economic challenges, and betrayals. Life has made it rigid and harsh—a painful memory of his life in those deep lines on his face. I don't think we come into life tough, bad-tempered and closed. Our experiences and life harden our soft souls, but sometimes, a sincere conversation can take us, even for a moment, to our state where everything is pure and warm.

People often think that simply loving something is enough to succeed at it. I disagree. Even if you love something deeply, you may not succeed in it. If there is something as important as love for success, it is hard work and talent. If even one of these three is missing, it is impossible to achieve success
At Lake Acı, nature showcases a stunning visual display, inviting observers to interpret the scene like a Rorschach test.

What can you spot in the picture?

A photograph of mine has been featured in National Geographic.
This Sunday will be a day filled with meaningful engagements. Following my speech on the power of art in combating violence against women, I will be participating in a live Instagram session at 9 pm Paris time with esteemed street photography masters.

In my photography, I love using light and shadows. I love the feeling that gives photos. Actually, etymologically, the root of photography words comes from drawing with light. So it is basic of photography. But not enough to shoot good photos. Geometry, decision moment is a must have too. So there are a lot of things that need to come together for good photography, and putting them together is not as easy as it sounds.
Out of more than 30,000 photographs, this is the one I received an award for and was one of the best. In the photo you see a Kurd living in a village in Eastern Anatolia in his local clothes.
This is the difference between taking random photos while traveling and being a real photographer. For a good photograph, you make observations and determine the right time and place. Otherwise, the ones you shoot will be one of the millions of images that will be forgotten in history and not a work of art.
Thanks for sharing this @angelikakollin .
I dream of a world where children live happily together without discrimination of religion, language, or race, where they do not die, where they are not despised or excluded...
In Pakistan, which is normally an Islamic Republic, there is no co-education in public schools. Boys and girls receive Islamic education in separate classrooms and schools. The Kalash, who live within the borders of Pakistan and neighboring Afghanistan, have not assimilated despite the conservative geography they live in and do not believe in the three major religions. Their schools are still co-educational. Gender diversity and unity are nothing to fear. On the contrary, according to most experts, it is not advisable to segregate children by gender from an early age. A photo from my project about Kalash schools, where children are not segregated by gender, identity, and religion but are educated equally and together.
Unfortunately, I just got the news that the Uncle in the photo had passed away when they called to ask for my permission to be used on the cover of a book. He will live forever in this photo. He never visit any countries but his photos exhibited in cities like London, Madrid. This is the power of photography
May he rest in peace.
All throughout my life I've come across people who have told me, "You can't do it" or "You shouldn't do it." or some version of that and I've always let my photographs respond. This photo was taken at one such time with such determination and passion. The pigeons, the cello, the use of light and the fluttering scarf, every detail visible in the photograph was a conscious choice and preference because combined together it symbolizes me, my dreams, hopes and disappointments and every element bears traces of me. And the composition transforms into the "Portrait of My Soul" Every element of this composition is natural and no addition, subtraction or any other kind of manipulation has been done in this photo because that would’ve been too easy and not worthy of being a window into my soul.
