1. Online baking recipes - although the croissant dough wasn’t made correctly, I still made attempt at chocolate filled croissants 🥐 🍫 you’ll notice the texture is different for both haha

2. My elderly neighbour - he often does a lot of yard work and he often cleans up the litter around all our homes in the neighborhood. Lovely old man 👴

3. Changing leaves 🍂- collecting the leaves to make a collage for my front door, the colours so are so vibrant right now.

Appreciation 10/15/24

1. Chinese takeout 🥡- lazy to make my lunch today and decided to treat myself to some Chinese. Greasy noodles with bourbon chicken totally hits the spot!

2. Nutmeg - horrible tasting at large amounts but putting a hint of it in sweet desserts or lattes and it’s so good!

3. Waterproof shoes - stepped a massive puddle today and these shoes saved my sock and foot! Science is amazing!

Appreciation 10/14/24

1. Thanksgiving turkey - made a turkey this year and it turned out pretty good!

2. Giving thanks to those people who are in your life and choose to spend their time with you ❤️

3. Pecan pie with vanilla ice cream - I know it super sweet but the taste of it, is sooo good! Give it a try with some cinnamon. Out of this world!

Appreciation 10/13/24

1. Local farms - visited the local farm and with admission you get two free pumpkins! Already carved a couple but probably going to be carving more now! Support local!

2. Cool morning air - been going running after a long time of sitting around in the morning. The cool, crisp morning air is something to enjoy!

3. Over ripe bananas - had a few of them that made into banana pancakes and no sweetener necessary. A tad bit of butter and maple syrup and you’re good to go!

Appreciation 10/12/24

1. Finally craved a couple of pumpkins with my nephews. They turned out alright all things considering 🎃

2. Brown butter - made some to make cookies and/or pies tonight for Thanksgiving. Excited to bake! 🧈

3. Thanksgiving - we are able to give thanks for the amazing life we live and don’t have to worry about where our next meal will come from or have a fear of being in a war-zone. We have much to be thankful for. 🦃

Appreciation 10/11/24

1. Last minute free time to do some cleaning. Was suppose to do pumpkins and cookies with my nephew but he was sick and never made it to my house for the activity. It’s been rescheduled for this weekend 🎃🍪

2. YouTube motivational videos - if you’re feeling like you’re in a bit of a rut, go on YouTube and watch some motivational videos and you’ll start feeling a little better and hopeful!

3. McDonald’s sausage and egg McMuffin - a bit lazy this morning to make breakfast, so got this yummy breakfast sandwich with some pickles 🥒 too! What a treat!
