Made a little review of available access methods for Farcaster data.
Curious to hear feedback from the data folks, does this cover it all? What are other sources and tools you use? And what's good/bad about them?

I read some posts from @phil and @ccarella.eth about purple’s evolution and found them pretty based:
1. Purple is real, alive and has a strong positive energy.
2. It’s still unclear how and where that energy will flow, and how to keep it flowing sustainably.
So I wanted to throw in my 2 cents:
Imo, we currently rely too much on an altruistic model. I am not questioning this as our DNA, it should definitely remain as our foundation; but I think we could benefit from introducing some utility to the mix.
In other words, if the DAO could push projects that can also generate utility to purple token holders, that would generate demand for the tokens, more income, and also create an objective feedback loop to optimize deployment.
I am not saying purple should be an investment fund that only optimizes for ROI, but a little bit of it could be useful in terms of clarifying the optimization function and maintaining a healthy energy.

It is currently powered by a an ETL that moves data from my hub to GCP Big Query.
The dataset provides rich features such as conversational styles and topics, plus easy to query aggregated statistics, see its documentation for more details here:

I am seeking financial support to make the data publicly available in Dune, and offer the community a powerful and easy-to-use data source.
The budget requested is 9000 $USDC.
It will go towards extending the ETL to feed Dune dataset in addition to Big Query; open sourcing; packaging and documenting it to make deployment reproducible end-to-end; and mainly paying the GCP bills and maintaining it for six months.
