I can't read books like "Thinking in Bets" anymore. By that I mean I can't go through myriads of anecdotes and personal stories in order to distill practical frameworks from it. You are wasting my time.
I hated "Thinking, Fast and Slow" for the same reason.
International law isn’t one prisoner’s dilemma. A short game now shapes long games later, but not all reputations carry over. A country can be strict on trade but unreliable on human rights. Reputation isn’t universal, it’s segmented.

Atheism lacks rituals, but rituals without belief feel hollow. Religion is like a placebo—you must believe for it to work. Can there be rituals for rationalists that aren’t empty?

* lean celsius but don't care too much either way
* abolish seasonal time changes

* don't put sugar in cold tea

omg zed.dev added for their vim mode nerdtree like navigation. I can now open files&folders with `o` and navigate with `j` & `k`

Hello ATH again. I see you are a regular
What's Degen Layer 3 build on?
I made a note to myself in the last bullmarket to not buy anything. Also for tax reasons in Germany it makes sense to wait so you don't pay taxes. Better it is took look for alternatives in a bullmarket. Not sure what the best tax avoiding options are though.
Ledger sucks sometimes... sorry
But why would you stick to BIP44 when managing EVM chains? I have Arbitrum assets on account 3 but can't see them in Ledger Live... because I first need to receive assets on Arbitrum in account 1 and 2. Makes no sense 🤯
Most annoying thing in crypto… there is no app/wallet that shows all your assets.
Who wrote this? This must be one of the weirdest software engineer requirements I've read.

Anyone in here willing to share some advice on web3 freelancing?
I seem to suck at finding web3 gigs (web2 is easy)

I'm offering 1000 USDC via @bountybot to anyone who successfully refers a freelance gig to me. Here's the process:

1. Recast this.
2. DC me with the details.

The bounty will be paid out if the referred gig lasts beyond an initial 30 days and is contracted for a total duration of at least 6 months.

Trying out the new zed.dev editor. It feels good, is super fast and has vim-mode. If I can put something on the wishlist it would be tab free split view. It really bothers me in all modern editors, that a split view duplicates all currently open tabs

Serious question. Why is there less (compared to e.g. Solana) talk about Polkadot?

Reading “How International Law Works” atm. Quite relevant for the decentralized world we are aspiring to. Any other recommendations on the topic?
