The moon is showing off tonight 🌝🤌
So excited about this podcast! ❤️ I first met Andrea at a retreat last summer, and this summer I was joining her women’s circles at the beach in Santa Monica and it was so beautiful. I can’t wait to follow her podcast journey! 🎙️

Today I want to share a video taken by one of the aid workers’ cameras. Targeting aid workers has become so normal that it’s barely getting any attention, even though it’s clearly a war crime. I’ll add it to the second cast.

Trigger warning: don’t watch if you don’t wanna see someone dying.
friends, if any of you are in /berlin, hope you go and support @olgaf 💙💛
Even in the towns that are quiet and not under attack these days, there are remnants of what was, and a reminder that this could happen again at any moment. ❤️‍🩹🇺🇦
next week I’m going to do an English class for the students at the school I graduated from in my small town in Ukraine.

not that I’m even remotely qualified to teach English in any way lol but I think I can encourage them to stick with learning English and other foreign languages and talk about the opportunities it can bring (even within the country, since based on new legislation, proficiency in English will be required for many government and leadership positions) 🌎❤️

I’m also speaking to 11th graders, and I hope they’re nice, because we were such assholes in 11th grade! 😶‍🌫️😂
Marfa roll call 🤠 who is coming? 👀
@artblocks
These popped up as “memories” on my fb from six years ago. Kaua’i ❤️ One of my favorite places. Hope I get to go back soon!
Just bought a power station for the medics with USDT (in addition to stablecoins, the store also accepted Bitcoin and ETH). The store where I buy all the medical supplies, as well as the one where I get Starlink terminals, also accepts crypto 🙌

Since both Bank of America and my Rain card are still blocking many transactions with Ukrainian merchants, it helps so much that so many stores here in Ukraine easily accept crypto, allowing me to continue purchasing supplies for the frontlines without any disruptions 🙏
ITAP of raspberries I just picked from my mom’s garden ❤️
The news just came out that Ukrainian journalist Victoria Roshchyna has died in russian captivity. There are more than 25 other Ukrainian journalists still being held captive, along with many other civilians. In case you were wondering how dangerous it is to cover the war and genocides in 2024, not only are members of the press being targeted and killed, but they are also being held in captivity and tortured for lengthy periods of time.

Both russia and the state of Israel are currently killing off journalists with impunity, as if international law doesn’t exist, and I wish this was talked about more ❤️‍🩹
proud full set holder here 🙋🏼‍♀️❤️ @brightmoments
HBO’s doc suggested that Peter Todd was Satoshi Nakamoto. Peter used this opportunity to direct attention to Ukraine by pinning a tweet about how russians are using FPV drones to hunt down Ukrainian civilians in Kherson and shared the fundraisers of two great orgs.

We may still not know who Satoshi is, but randomly it’s a good outcome to get more eyes on Kherson 🫂

some of the medics I am helping are not far from there, and this time it wasn’t even possible to reach them due to swarms of drones, so I’m shipping stuff to them and hope they will be able to pick it up in one of the towns at some point if it gets safer.
Thank you, @mazmhussain 🫂 You are the real one! I truly wish more people could see what’s happening on the eastern and southern frontlines with their own eyes. I really appreciate you sharing this—means the world!
It’s been exactly a year since my adventures in Buenos Aires 🇦🇷 with my ankle broken in two places 🥴😅

just had a surgery in Kyiv 🇺🇦 to remove the titanium plates and screws that my lovely Argentinean doctors installed in my ankle 🔩🙌 finally got rid of this pile of metal yayyyyyy
Jesus 🤦🏼‍♀️ I can see how this could be good, but now this is going to give me extra anxiety, lmao. I’ll be running Dune Analytics every time before tipping someone to make sure they haven’t tipped me too many times 💆🏼‍♀️😂

(on a serious note, I see how this can really suck for artists who have been trying to support each other daily)
Kyiv 🫂🇺🇦 Thank you @mazmhussain for visiting and sharing this photo. Each flag represents someone who was killed while defending Ukraine ❤️‍🩹
yesterday, russians killed a fellow aid worker (who was evacuating civilians) using an FPV drone and spread the video on telegram 🥺⛑️💔 I normally don’t share these kinds of videos, but I want you to see what every single one of us risks while delivering supplies or doing evacuations. this could have been me (and I fully understand the risk).

as always, this most likely won’t make the news, as targeting and killing any civilians including aid workers is treated as ‘normal’ these days. in russian telegram channels they call it “human safari” 🫥
gonna leave this video from Kyiv Post here for anyone who wants to see what it looks like in so many Ukrainian cities almost every night when air defense is trying to shoot down russian drones and missiles. when we say ‘it was a loud night,’ this is what we mean ❤️‍🩹 last night was one of those.
enjoying some matcha on this rainy day 💚
woke up this morning to the sound of a russian hypersonic ballistic missile being shot down by air defense nearby and debris falling. 😶‍🌫️ really hope everyone is okay and didn’t get injured by the pieces of the missile falling from the sky. gm
sound on 🔊 this is what the city sounds like all night long: air raid sirens for russian drones heading our way. tonight’s about to be very loud. drones coming from many directions 😤

on the bright side, I’m taking a course that starts at 5:30 a.m. in my time zone, and I definitely won’t miss it since sleeping tonight will be difficult 🙃
